My son lives on the mountain and knows a lot about the area. I just finished installing the rock sliders and we decided to go explore some places he couldn't go in his daily driver WJ. We spent the day working our way down the fire roads from 7 k elevation just after a week of rain. Needless to say go to use my winch. The skid plates and sliders paid for themselves. Even have bonus footage of me bein dumb in the mud. Love my Renegade after this weekend.
No Lift, Running 225/65/R17's No rubs and handles great on the mountain trails and out in the desert washes I like to go to. Plus shes my Daily Driver. 80 miles a day so for me a good balance. I am going to go with a 1" 1/4 wheel spacers soon. And eventually maybe a small 1.5" lift. How about you?
1.5 avid, bullbar skidplate combo from rocky road, smittybilt xrc 9500lb winch, rally lights, 235 65 on stock rims installed on Saturday. We're going with valkyrie rear diff skid and sliders from whomever, haven't decided on those.
We’re headed up to Idyllwild in a couple of weeks for camping.. would love to take my 3.5 yr old somewhere fun near there. any tips? (I know we’re 9 months apart)
