Looking at getting these but was wondering what other people were experiencing for gas mileage dip. My work commute is 70 miles per day and about 95% of that his highway. Thanks
Agreed got about 45k miles on my KO2s and a big ass roof rack with a light bar. Getting a steady 20.7 mpg. Do about 80miles a day...wish the gas tank was bigger but still rolling strong with 57k total
Thank you both for the replies. With my previous SUV (2003 Chevy Blazer ZR2 - Just got the Rene this March) I was only getting 10-11 mpg highway so I guess anything above that is a setup. That and a new set of wheels and tires just elevates the look of the Rene so much in my opinion. Worth the dip in mpg.
Got the ko2’s 225/65/17 on 2o17 TH. I get 20 city 24-25 hwy. worth the loss in mpg I think also. Am pretty easy on the pedal though.
I get around 20 on the highway and only about 15-16 city. I drive pretty aggressively so that doesn't help at all.
One thing to keep in mind. If you increase tire size, you increase your final drive ratio. The mileage calculator in the dash does not know that. You would need to calculate the percentage difference in circumference between the tire sizes and apply that to the mileage readout.
