It would be awesome if Globex could offer two versions of a rooftop light bar mount. Version one, normal roof top light bar mount. Version 2, high-rise rooftop light bar mount. Version two would allow for mounting a light bar slightly higher, so that should a snorkel kit be installed, the light bar with sit up high enough to clear it.

The OGZ snorkel. Made in Brazil, I spoke with the manufacturer, and I can order one, and have it shipped to Houston, TX for about $550.00 USD. I'm seriously considering it, but where it mounts eliminates some roof light bar options. Here are sine pictures:

HMMMMMMM very tough call, a light bar higher than that snorkel would be very tall. We're working on a design now to incorporate limb risers into our mounts so that may change your mind? Also, we always say, stay out of the water it does more damage than good.

Okay, I will stay tuned. On a side note, I'm not a big fan of playing in the water but sometimes I do go into the river bottoms to rescue people during floods, and deliver supplies when their vehicles can't make it out.

I am extremely interested in a snorkel, but the OGZ Snorkel misses one of the key features. They have the Snorkel intake turned the wrong way around. Now at least on the Nissan xTerra where the intake was pointed forward we saw 1.5mpg to 3mpg improvement on highway. As for rain, the water was rejected and drained off.

You could drill holes in the front opposite the opening and have duel openings

I'd like to see how it connects under the hood because room is VERY tight. Are you using the stock air box or new one??

For our limb risers? We will be retaining the stock air box as the tabs would mount to the hood.
