Anybody had an issue with a big crease appearing on the 60 side back squab?. After its been folded down for a while it now has a big crease across both middle and outer seat back.Seems like the foam has split behind the cloth about 6 inches up from the bottom . When you press it feels like its now in two parts.

I noticed the same thing but, not really a crease in the foam, the foam was just crushed inwards. I had the seats folded down for about a week and apparently there was a book under it. The fabric may have a tiny crease but the cushion popped out after a few days.

I had both seats down on a 60/40 for about a month. I was hoping this would make them lie flat. It is irritating that the seats don't lie flush. I digress, when I put them back up there was a huge, ugly crease across the center section of the seat row. It eventually came out. I no longer put my seats down. I had a 2007 escape and always had the seats down. It would have been nice to have the same from my Jeep.

That's the same mine has left a faint mark. It seems like the seat. Back catches on the cushion and folds the foam. Going to see if i can raise the back up a touch to clear it when its folded

Does the seat bottom come out?

I've seen some vehicles where the seat doesn't lie-flat unless the seat bottom is removed.

Normally they hook in the front and clip in the back. You pull out the back and lift. Not sure on the Rene.

Couple of easy solutions. Either pack out under the clamp with a few washers. I put about 5mm in there. It needs more. The clamp is way too tight on the plastic bushes and does not allow the seat to come up to clear the cushion as it rides over it. Or put a plastic bag under the center section so it rides over the plastic not the cloth. Nice to do FCA's development work for them.
