It was about 90.00 after tax. I’ve seen cheaper and I could have just made something I’m sure but I liked the way it was built.

Yeah the Yakima is a touch cheaper. Building something seems easier to me. Currently I just use a ratchet strap. Think I should get a cover to protect from dry rot too.

That’s actually my next thing, I will need something to protect it over the winter, might even just take it off if it gets bad. But is there any kinda covers for roof mounts? I was even thinking of buying a hard cover and drilling a hole to put the mounting piece through the top.

I imagine you could Just drill some holes in a steel plate, put bolts through around your baskets cross rails, use some rubber to keep it from rattling, then you can just put holes In the plate wherever you need em. I personally, since I'm still using a strap, I was going to get a normal cover because, I mean, it's not gonna blow off or something with my strap over it.

Installed my 1" wheel spacers, black Jeep logos front and back, and my Daystar Bull Bar. The bull bar leaves a bit to be desired. How come nobody makes an actual nice looking/functional bull bar for us? Oh well, it'll make a good light mount I guess.

Also, I gotta do something about those wheels. They need to be black. Any suggestions without breaking the bank or finding new rims?

You think it'll hold up on the wheels? I always worry about that. And how to do it without removing the tires. Just mask real well? Take the wheels off?

I know people use it on rims all the time with tuners shouldn't be hard to find any information you need. Haven't done it myself. But it should hold up fine I
And if you ever wanna change it with effort it peels off

Added inserts, changed fog lights to yellow led, daytime lights to white leds with resistors, and getting Geolandars put on Thursday!

I did, bought them from aliexpress - they work well. I wish it was a trailhawk, it’s only an Altitude FWD though.
