New shoes 17x8 and 225/65/17 KO2s

Thought I would share the new setup. 17x8 Rockstars +20 with 225/65/17 BFG KO2 tires.

 

Clean, nice set up ! Where did you buy ? Is there any rub ?

 

Thanks! No rub so far after driving around lock to lock under braking. I found the best prices on ebay. I also bought new sensors as well.

I have cans of Anvil paint coming to do the trim pieces on the rims.

Thanks for the info, the anvil trim will be a nice touch.

 

I got the painting done on the wheels, now trying to decide if I do the stars in the middle or not.

In person the paint matches, every pic I took the body and wheels look a different shade.

 

Thanks for sharing the information and all of the photos. I think I will be buying the tires for my Desert Hawk.

From another thread, I flipped over my spare tire as suggested and was able to put my tow chain and strap etc... in the extra space created. I think if you have enough weight on it, the tire doesn't move around. It appears you could use the extra space and find the information helpful.

I think they do too. Now that's just wheels and tires, right? No lift. No spacers. No rub.

 

Yep all wheel no lift or spacers, 17x8 Rockstars +20 instead of +40ish stock with 225/65/17 BFG KO2 tires.

After going back and forth on wheels since May, I've finally decided on these...
No spacers to deal with and I can keep my tires until they wear out and then I can get some 235/60r17

 

Tough looking wheels! How do you like those KO2's? I'm thinking they're gonna be my next tire...
