Howdy folks. Got through Irma, did some cleanup, and finally got to go back to work yesterday. Except my car had other plans. Transmission problems that have been giving me too many headaches finally came back, so I took myself to the dealership and made a lifelong dream come true. Yesterday I brought home my first Jeep, a '17 Altitude 4x4 with the 2.4L and auto 9-spd that will be my daily driver and camping/biking/kayaking/springs hopping buddy! So now, I'm joining every Renegade forum I can find and introducing myself. I come from the BMW and motorsports communities and I can't imagine I'll ever own a car that doesn't have an enthusiast following. I don't post much (I read A LOT), but I'm looking forward to being a part of this group, learning the Jeep life, and doing some off-roading. I'm already looking at wheels, rubber, a roof basket, and some choice upgrades to make my outdoor life even more enjoyable. Here she is: (PS if anyone wants these wheels and tires that have 50 miles on them let me know!)

I'm in Orlando. My folks live on the gulf coast and I make trips out to the east coast every few weeks to go boating. Last weekend I drove to Ponce Inlet and back on Saturday and then Cape Coral and back on Sunday. Rene is racking up miles! Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Soon! I'm very much looking forward to temps cooling off a bit so I can get back to camping trips. Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
