When I slow to a stop, I’m hearing an odd sound, almost like the sound you would hear say if you went over the solid line on the right side of the highway. It’s sporadic.
No lights on the dash or smells. I took it to the dealership and they said my brakes were fine. I tried to explain the sound but they just dismissed me. Anyone else experienced this?

    Hi Mr. F,
We understand how this could be frustrating, and that you are just reaching out to other forum members for feedback. However, if you do choose to revisit your dealer to have this looked into further, please let us know. We would be more than happy to offer an additional layer of assistance. How many miles are on the car? Is there any wobble in the steering wheel or vibration anywhere in the car when this happens? It sounds like a wheel bearing but that would be rare in a lower mileage vehicle.

I have 8K on the jeep. There is no wobble in the steering or vibration anywhere in the car when this happened. I do feel the whirring sound on my brake pedal when braking.

That sounds like your ABS is being triggered. Might be worth checking to see if any debris is interfering with the sensors.
