Very nice! Avid makes great stuff. Did you install it yourself, if so, how long did it take and what is the difficulty? What about the front?

Thank you and yes i did the install. The disassembly was a bit challenging going slow and studying the parts so I didn't break shit. The assembly was straight forward but the fit and finish is where the hard part of the build begins. I spent a day and a half for the build but alot of time was spent studying and figuring out how I was going to get things workout to the way I like and what is needed. The bumper is of high quality both in strength and looks. I was not going to slap it together and have it look like shit that just me. I will say that if you have never done anything like this and don't have a somewhat good tool selection it could be very challenging. As far as the front that is next when my piggy bank gets full.

I to would like to have had the swing out tire carrier ,maybe in the future they will have an add-on kit. I got this one because I was really needing the tow hitch. I really like what you have done to rig Nathaniel

it looks like it might possibly be an option for an addition in the future, all of their rear bumpers look like they have the cutout for the swing arm, would just have to cut the welds and put it in.
And thank you! it's been a labor of love but my bank account keeps yelling and cussing at me lol

That really is nice, big improvement, thanks for sharing. I have a 2" Curt receiver on my Trail Hawk, very quick and easy to install, but not enough ground clearance. This will be a good reason to start saving up $ !

I replaced the cabin air filter this morning. It took about 30 minutes which included cleaning out the junk in the glove box. Went smooth. The old filter was pretty dirty, almost 3 years old and 56k miles.

Thanks, I wish I was 60 again :). Nothing major in the 60k, a few software updates that fixed the locks and improved the shifting. The main problem I have had was a lot of distortion with the radio. They replaced the unit but it turned out to be the speakers. We have enjoyed the Renegade and it is driving well. Going in for my last free oil change/tire rotation this week and a state inspection. If I had to complain about something it would be the not very good stock Continental tires that came on it, they barely made 30k and if you were to buy them they are not a cheap tire.

I look forward to a trouble - free Renegade Life too. So far,7500 no-issue miles, versatility and good fuel economy, my Trail Hawk is surprising me in good ways.
