I've finally ran the stock falcons tires out and was looking to get a new tire. As for most people here, I was considering the BFG KO2. Since my wife primarily drives the Trailhawk, I did not want to spend a bunch of money if I did not have to. I discovered the new for 2018 PIRELLI SCORPION ALL TERRAIN PLUS 225/65r/17. We paid $161 per tire at discount tire. We had to special order them. Our Trailhawk is stock , the tires fit perfect with no rubbing . Street noise is minimal. Off-road performance is far superior to stock! These tires are awesome and a great alternative to the Ko2.

I do like these, I think they are what I will go with when I replace my tires soon.

Update, they were what I went with when I replaced my tires. They are pretty quiet. Losing about .75mpg overall from them after doing the math. Really quite quiet. Real close to stock wranglers for noise, slightly quieter in some conditions, slightly louder in others. Had it out in some pretty unpleasant rain and they do well. They do alter steering feel though.

In what way do they alter the steering feel? Good or bad?

They resist turning from on center a bit more and once you overcome that turn in is a bit quicker. Not major, but noticeable.

Anyone run these in snow yet? I put Perelli Scorpions snow tires on the old lady's Journey a few years ago and they're pretty good in Anchorage, Alaska winters. The stock tires I probably have at least 2 years before I change em (just got the Renegade a month ago, 600 miles so far). Looking at options that will give me decent road use and some trail use (not heavy trails, but definitely rougher than a dirt road).

I got to use them in that mid-November nor-easter. Only about 3-4" of snow and lots of slushy icy mix. Getting home from work I stuck to unplowed back roads as much as possible to stay away from the insanity. They worked well. Can't say they got going better than the OEM wranglers, but they definitely stopped better. Enough so that I had to make a point to keep an eye on anyone behind me and not brake too hard or fast.
