Use these people AT YOUR OWN RISK. I've been trying for over a month to get a set of Bilstein 5100's from these folks, and the order was "damaged" in transit by UPS. The 3 struts I got were in boxes literally falling apart, but I can't find any apparent damage on them other than bent brake mounting tabs and missing shock bands.. The 4th strut was evidently damaged enough in transit according to UPS, that they stopped delivery at the first sort facility. I've been waiting over 3 weeks and Suspension Connection said the 4th strut was special ordered, and would ship last Thursday. It didn't ship until Monday, and I just got it tonight. The strut was loose in a brown box, unlike the others that were shipped in Bilstein boxes that were falling apart. Only one strut had the plastic band on it that is there to hold them from extending in transit.

The strut we just got has the mounting tabs bent on the lower strut, and there are nicks on the upper shaft, because, get this, someone at the shipping location dropped a loose 6" long 1" diameter hex head bolt in the box. Folks, this is an attitude of someone that is a complete prick at whoever is drop shipping this stuff. Since this strut is just loose in a plain box with no Bilstein packaging on it, it would not surprise me if this is in fact the damaged strut returned to the original shipper by UPS. Then some jerk decided he was going to be billy badass and throw a big bolt in loose and ship it. The bolt weighs about 2 lbs and tore the strut up.

I'm calling them Monday, and I'm going to return all 4. This is an attitude I'm completely unwilling to deal with. This is crap merchandise packaging and shipping, willfully done with intent to harm the parts.

Here's some pics (hope they work).

Update for Monday. Suspension Connection drop shipped these from someone back East, so this looks like a supplier problem. Still, this has been dragging on for 5+ weeks now, trying to get the parts. The original 3 Bilsteins I did get, came in very beat up boxes being held together with additional packing tape, probably from UPS repair in transit. The plastic shock bands were missing on 2 of them, and they weren't in the boxes, so the boxes were open at some point in transit. They're all going back and they'll issue a refund.

I ordered a set of B6 Bilstein’s for my Renegade from Amazon with the same shipping issues from UPS; the boxes showed up to the house destroyed.

You can also make a claim through UPS for careless handling.

It doesn’t seem fair to hold the supplier accountable for the carrier’s carelessness (other than, maybe it could have been double boxed).

I hope you get it sorted out.

The shipper intentionally threw a large construction bolt in a non-Bilstein box with a strut just loose in the same box. That was deliberate, but not Suspension Connection's fault, it's a supplier issue. However, Suspension Connection lied to me and said they were "re-ordering" the strut as it had to be "special ordered" from the supplier. Instead, I'm sure it was the strut noted "damaged" by UPS, that was returned to the shipper, that the shipper then sent out 2 weeks later with a large bolt included. It wasn't a special order "out of stock" item, it was the return from UPS thrown in another box and shipped with a middle finger from the shipper. There's culpability here.

Also, they said they were processing my refund 2 weeks ago. No money yet, no communication. I'm about a week away from filing a credit card dispute. I've never had my credit union take longer than 72 hours to process a return charge, although I don't do them often.

Emailed them last night reminding them that it had been two weeks and received a reply at 3 that said they were sending it down to their accounting department for immediate refund. They told me that 2 weeks ago, so if nothing has happened by Friday I'm filing a dispute.

I order my 5100s from home depot. When in stock got them fast like 5days. But the 5100s I've had nothing but issues. Ironically I didnt want to go the spacer route because of the history of spacers causing more harm than good. Boy was I wrong! Bilstein 5100s stay away from just do the eibach and avid spacer lift
