    Brutal Honesty time;

    In it's class, The Renegade is not the most reliable vehicle out there.. don't get me wrong, it's not bad, the entire automotive world has vastly improved in reliability over the last 20 years so that most any car you buy new is going to give you years of service without major trouble, But the Renegade is still an Italian built low dollar vehicle, and reliability reflects that.

    As to pros and cons, a lot depends on which trim you choose, and how you'll use it.

    There is nothing else in the class that compares to the Renegade off road, It's no Wrangler, But it's way better than even it's closest segment competitor, The Subaru Crosstrek. If you want the best off road Renegade, get a Trailhawk, other Renegades are good off road, but the Trailhawk is the best out of the box.

    MPG is only so-so across the Renegade model line, there are lots of segment competitors that do better.

    Handling is only so-so, if you want to do high speed off road like rally cross, the Renegade isn't a bad choice, but the aforementioned Crosstrek is better, If you're looking for on-pavement prowess, the renegade isn't it.

    The main pro of the Renegade other than it's off road ability is attitude, It's an easily identifiable vehicle with a personality all it's own, something that is mostly lacking in it's segment.

    If you're already gravitating towards a Renegade, I'm guessing you recognize that uniqueness, and place some value on it. I don't think it would disappoint you, but if you're dong comparisons to other vehicles, it might not be your best choice.

    Thanks for getting back to me. We currently have a 2018 jl Rubicon and can't stand it. From death wobble to wandering all over the road for the money I wouldn't recommend one.

    Honestly, That sounds like a problem with an improperly installed (Or poorly designed) lift. I'm assuming it has a lift installed on it?

    Do you have access to a different dealership? If it's true death wobble, (And not just shaking of the steering wheel due to an out of balance tire/bent rim/other similar issue), it really isn't that hard to troubleshoot on a brand new vehicle.

    I'd try a different dealership. I surely wouldn't let the dealership talk me in to trading a Rubicon for a Renegade...

    You could also try getting assistance from @JeepCares , they really do.

    The Jeep Renegade is a popular small crossover SUV that offers a good balance of off-road capability and daily driving comfort. Some pros of the Renegade include its rugged and stylish design, fuel-efficient engine options, and available all-wheel drive system. It also has a spacious and practical interior with plenty of storage space. Some cons to consider include its small size, which can make it less comfortable for long road trips, and its below-average reliability ratings. And if you wonder somethign like can i buy car without driver license, just like I did, then I need to tell you it is generally not possible to purchase a vehicle without having a valid driver's license. In most states, you must have a driver's license to register and insure a vehicle, so you will need to have a license before you can legally operate the car.
