Do you still have Hi/Low beams or just low beams now? Great write up BTW!

Oh yeah, I still have low and high beams. There are 2 LEDs for the low beams and 2 more for when you turn the high beams on.

Just ordered them, and returned the OPT7's...I'll post back when I get them in.

Don't forget the garage complete with lift too! Lol, I'm so jealous of WoL's setup.

They work! Saved some coin, and they are simple plug-n-play install. Huge difference at least in my garage and parking lot, will report back tomorrow when I actually test them out!

    Here's some before and afters:
Stock headlights from 15' away (no fog lights)

After from same 15' away (no fog lights)

OK, that's exactly why I wanted to see pictures. If the manufacturer of the LED bulb doesn't place the LED in the exact same place as where the filament in the OE halogen was, it changes where everything gets reflected to.

Look at the difference between your bulbs and wayoflife's, particularly the lack of a cutoff yours has, which means there's more glare to oncoming drivers. I had the same problem when I put LED bulbs in my motorcycle headlight, the light just went EVERYWHERE and defeated the purpose of the carefully designed reflectors from the factory.

Hope that makes sense. They are probably fantastic for you, because it's throwing light everywhere. Not so good for everyone you encounter in traffic, lol.

Thanks for posting up your findings! Glad to hear they are plug-n-play and didn't need to be modified like mine. They sure seem bright. You'll have to let us know if you get more people flashing their lights at you.

Oh they are working great! Not one person has flashed their lights at me (and I drive to work before the sun is up).

    Highly recommend the upgrade!

Just installed mine. Also did the fog lights and DRL's turned out amazing, super simple. It took me about 45 minutes to finish all and I have no car experience.

Any noise issues with the fans? I noticed that there was another type with a heat sink instead? Just trying to weigh the options.

Did you attach the Canbus Free adapters to yours? That came with it. I didn't but haven't gotten any error messages. Figured I'd wait and see what happens because it felt like a lot of wires to shove in the housing.

I haven't noticed any noises. When I installed one side and started the car to check the light then shut off the engine my headlights remain on for like 15 seconds and when it was quiet I maybe noticed a slight hum but nothing concerning.
