Yes, you lose considerable departure angle with this hitch - No, it is not for everyone. Mounted on a FWD Latitude that does no off-roading. My off-road adventures begin when I arrive at the trail-head with my canoe or mountain bike or FatBike piggy-backed on the roof rack or riding on this hitch.
