So, as some of you may or may not have noticed, in the scale model pic of the all new 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler that I posted up yesterday, there was another model and some drawing of another, smaller Jeep next to it. This little brother of a Jeep was an aggressive 2-door that was a lot smaller and clearly looked like had IFS on it. In a lot of ways, it looked like a remote control Jeep toy but that got me thinking about a conversation I had with Mark Allen, the senior designer of Jeep back in Moab. He said that they were working on a couple of different new models and one of which was going to be the new Patriot/Compass but the other was going to be something totally different. Something totally new... "like a Renegade on steroids" is what I think he said. Could this be it? What do you think of it?
The "Warthog" from Halo for the movie, if they ever release it, was built off of something like an 86 Suburban frame....they threw basically everything but half the frame away lol. I'd own one of them Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Looks very concepty, not likely for production for a number of reasons. But it's cool. In my head, it's got 4 independent electric hub motors, or maybe better, two inboard electric motors fore and aft, with portal axles with gear reducing hubs. Insane articulation and ALL the torque at 0rmp. all of it.
