Sgt. Strife skidplate here!!!

My Sgt. Strife skidplate arrived today!!! Prepped it by wiping it off with denatured alcohol and made sure to "key" the skid plate (as Edd China would say). Cleaned it again with the alcohol and then did 3 coats with self etching primer. Will let it dry overnite then will paint it with black bedliner to give it a very tough shell in case it takes a hit or 2.
Am debating if I will have the patience to mask the 1941 and outline that in red as seen in another thread. Will decide on that tomorrow.
Thanks again to Sgt. Strife for an awesome skidplate will recommend it to anyone thinking of extra protection. Well worth the $$

Yea the one you see above is it. It's made by a local forum member not a big company that's why you will not find it online. The quality is awesome and well worth the $$. Here is mine after primer and bedliner....

 

Got mine installed today. Quick, easy and truly functional.

 

First I got mine thru contacting him on a different forum
. 2nd he is not advertising on this forum. Members of this forum have gotten his skidplate and posted happy/excited reviews as it is a quality product for a platform that does not see much aftermarket support.
3rd it's no different than various other posts extolling the virtues of some dodad that someone found fits our platform.
4th instead of the veiled comment on a post he may or may not see why not contact him directly and see if he wants to become a vendor on this forum.
Lastly don't come in and crap on my thread I purchased an item I liked it am happy someone is making something for our platform and am letting others know I'm happy with it. Thought this is what the forum was supposed to be about. Exchanging ideas/info on our ride good or bad. If all were going to be able to talk about is officially liscenced products this forum will get even slower than it already is....

Which rule did I break? Not being nice to you? Again I bought something specific for this forum and I posted MY personal opinion about it.
You on the other hand came in and accused Sgt Strife of not contacting management without knowing if he did or didn't.
I do spend more time on the other forum as it moves at light speed compared to this one.

I'm glad at least frank noticed I was being respectful. However, I don't feel a mutual respect reciprocated when you and your staff come in slandering and making assumptions instead of communicating internally to figure your crap out. So if you didn't start the forum to gain members and actively seek to grow your forum why start it? To feed your ego?.
Without forum members you don't have exposure that a vendor wants to expose their product to.
Without vendors you have no income to pay for the bandwidth for the forum... Btw my buying products from those vendors indirectly benefit your pocket so it's not free to me as you imply..
Oh btw I do spend most of my time on the other forum I come by here just in the off chance there might be 1 new post a day that might not be mine.... Have a nice day.
