Hi All -- Was wondering what kind of periodic maintenance those who have the Daystar lift are doing - how often, what you're checking, etc. I've been taking mine into the shop that installed it every six months or so, but wondering if that's necessary since it's riding fine (albeit with a little creaking now and then). Thanks in advance!

I don't think it's necessary to take it to the shop, unless it's a free service. It's pretty simple to check everything once everything is already in place, just need the right tools to tighten up the bolts. Shouldn't take more than 1hr to check everything. A list of the tools needed comes with the daystar lift kit

Haven't had to touch mine yet, I crawl under it every few months just to make sure everything is snug and nothing looks out of place.

PS I really cant wait until someone comes up with a larger lift kit/system for these Renegades, even with the DS lift its hard to get under :(

Thanks, FireHawk. Having not installed it, I'll need to do a little homework, but will be nice to not have to take it in.

If you have the space and the tools, it really doesn't look to terrible to do but it will probably take a good while. I didn't have the space in the garage, and since we recently moved I didn't really have the tools at the time either. Plus, I wanted to retain my warranty so I had a shop install mine that's affiliated with my dealer.
