Nice! Shooting is fun, and even more fun when you get to drive there with a Renegade. Whereabouts was this in the desert? I used to live in SoCal and often went gold prospecting out in Goler Gulch near Randsburg.

Oh, okay. I've been up that way a couple times in the past but not too familiar with it. I did prospect once up in Coolgardie, however. I love living in the Sierra mountains but I do sometimes miss the desert.

Installed new OEM splash guards, easy install, look sharp. Next on my wish list, 1" wheel spacers. IMG_20161226_121903552.jpg IMG_20161226_121837947.jpg IMG_20161226_121806277.jpg IMG_20161226_122028912.jpg

A before and after of my Renny DOJ.

LED lighting all around except head lights, those are next. Added cross bars for a roof rack which will be here Friday.

I do however, have a ton of road noise with the bars as well as turbulence. Seems as if the doors alone have a whistle at 73mph and above, adding the support bars is extremely worse at 54 mph the road noise is loud. Looking to get some deflectors along the windows and My Sky to reduce the noise...

    Suggestions anyone???

A deflector should help the road noise and turbulence from the bars. I have Yakima round bars with the Yakima deflector and have neither, it is very quiet. If you have Thule bars, they also make a deflector. There also may be other deflectors out there that would fit your bars. REI often has sales on rack products, both Yakima and Thule. That is where I bought my bars and deflector for just above ½ price for the set.

There are also window deflectors available. Mopar makes a stick-on set (available thru dealers and vendors on-line) and WeatherTech makes in-channel deflectors for the Renegade. I will be getting deflectors shortly but not quite sure which ones. I do like the idea of in-channel. They all seem to be around $100.

I do not have MySky however, that could make a difference.

    Good luck.
