So I took the Jeep for the first time on a muddy dirt road and immediately got this messages. I tried to change drive modes and traction control light stays on now Drive mode unavailable Dinamic steering torque service required Service ESC system Service hill hold control What could be wrong with it
For starters I wouldn't call it a car. I've taken my Jeep thru the extreme and it can hold its own. Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Slipped in some snow on Monday night and got all the same errors as I was pulling in the drive way I figured I'd just leave it. Got in the car Tuesday morning and got all the errors all over again. So I called the dealer because I already had an appointment the next day and they told me they couldn't replicate the error but it had several updates and that should hopefully fix things but to keep an eye out. Weird part was I had my jeep in a week prior for my yearly and to make sure they checked for updates, which they said they did but a week later there were more.... I haven't had it happen since but now at least it's on record at the dealer in case something goes wrong. Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
I had the same problem even after updates, sometimes my 4x4 system would work and other times I would get this error message. When I went to the dealership they said that when they plugged it in, and that it didn't show any problems. A few months ago after some snow fall I went to put lock it into 4x4 but I got the error so I drove it right to the dealership and left it running to show them the error. They had to install a new module to fix the problem (it was covered under warranty.)
