Hello fellow jeep toasters Today I received an invitation from my local jeep dealership here in the uk. To go and have a sneek peek before the official uk launch of the jeep Renegade. I will view the left hand drive Renegade friday The good news for you guy's is left hand drive Renegades do indeed exist ? Please see pics below of the invitation. I will give you more information Next week. Keep the faith they are coming? Regards Mick
Hi I will post as much as I can next week My problem is I have driven a jeep wrangler since 1994 It will have to be a very special vehicle to pry me out of the driving seat in my 09 jeep jk. I am looking forward to seeing the new Renegade. I do not really have any ideas on how big the vehicle is in reality. So it will be good to see one in the flesh so to speak. Is it time for a change? We shall see and I hope you get your Renegades sooner rather than later. I will keep you posted Regards Mick
Hi I have just found the first for me newspaper advert for the new jeep renegade (slight dig at land rover) haha
And not only Jeep has been there .... Me and my Renegade have been there before ... This is JEEP Country ... on a quiet Night you can hear a poor Landrover rust ...
That is a big thumbs up for the newest member of the jeep family Really looking forward to seeing one on friday now.
Hi all I have just got back home from my local jeep dealership here in the uk. My first impression of the jeep Renegade is how BIG it is very surprised indeed. And not what I Imagined. Very comfortable seating large roomy interior. I quite like the adjustable cargo shelf. The my sky roof will cost us £1,100 option. I was not expecting the pricing to be so big as well. I will be having a test drive in about three weeks time and I will let you know how I go on. I hope by that time you will have yours in the good ole USA. I picked up my vip pack which includes a usb stick with offroad videos of the Renegade. Price list accessories and a nice brochure, and a price list. I took some pics see below the incredible willys jeep was actually at the Normandy landings. Regards Mick
Hi All Just got back from having a test drive in a Omaha Orange latitude Renegade Very impressed with the performance of the 1.4L multi air engine. Very smooth gear shifting Quiet engine comfortable seating. All the controls easy to reach, spacious interior. I love the dash clear instruments all easy to read information. Plenty of get up and go and the visibility is excellent. The Power glass roof gives a nice airy feeling to the jeep. Overall a very impressive new jeep. We in the UK will be having the trailhawk version around in June. As for me buying one I Will most probably wait for the new Wrangler in 2017 and then make my mind up which one to have One of the reasons for not buying one Yet is I have driven a Jeep Wrangler since 1994 YJ TJ and my 09 JK. So it will have to be another wrangler or something special? I will be back to the dealership later in the year when the Trailhawk will be available and have a good look then. I hope you toasters get your Renegades soon and I look forward to hearing back from you all. With your first impressions and what modifications you will be doing. And mostly seeing you out on the trails jeeping in your beautiful country. All the best Mick
