Air Force One? Not yet. This Boeing 747 is in the process of being made into a non-flying exact replica of Air Force One that will be open to the public. The airplane will be barged to different locations for exhibition. Last week it was green and white Evergreen Cargo. My wife and I took a ride down to the port/industrial area not far from our house to check things out. We go down every few weeks to see what is going on. It is quite a place. I didn't turn around to take pictures because the area in back of the Renegade is a defense plant (nuclear submarine sub-assembly construction). The area is the former Quonset Point Naval Air Station and Davisville SeaBee Center which was used to train the SeaBee construction battalion members during WWII. The SeaBee museum is also located here.

One more from today. This is another section of the port, not a good picture of the Renegade but I wanted to get the parking area in the picture. This lot is 1 of 8 my wife and I have found that contains VW and Audi diesel buybacks. This is a big lot but we know of 2 that are bigger, 1 quite a lot bigger. I was talking with a security guard last week and he figures the lots contain upwards of 30,000 buybacks. Thought you guys would find this interesting. The port itself has approximately 70,000 new cars on hand (VW, Audi, Porsche, Honda, Subaru, Bentley and Ford - I have seen a few GM products lately also). All come in by ship with the exception of the Fords, they come in by rail. The lot goes way left and right from this vantage point. This lot was empty 3 weeks ago.
Went through Schnebly Hill Trail in Sedona today. It's a pretty rough trail and I had the local Pink Jeep tour drivers tell me I wouldn't make it. Well here I am at the halfway point. Sent from my Pixel XL using ToasterJeep mobile app

Pulled over to get something out of the back for the kids and there was this coyote carcass that someone had perched in the pullout... classic rural Nevada humor. Grossed out the wife and kids... I had to pull up and get a pic. Sent from my SM-T810 using ToasterJeep mobile app
Looks terrific! I'm planning on adding a basket, still out on whether the black hood decal looks like something I want to add. I do like it.
