I threw my boats on and went for a star-spangled paddle. The kayaks are about as long as the Reni . IMG_2769.JPG

Got the cross bars & basket installed and took it for its first ride on the beach down in OBX, North Carolina. Didnt get a chance to air down when we first got there because there was no pull off area so the ride down the beach was a bit iffy at times at 38psi. Especially since we saw a Limited stuck in the sand right at the entrance as soon as we pulled up. We stopped and aired down to 15psi for the ride back and it handled even the deep, super soft sand with ease in 4HI. There was a storm coming right up our backsides when we left so everyone was trying to get out at the same time. Probably saw at least 10-15 trucks stuck. Even the full size lifted trucks and Wranglers werent fairing too well and were getting stuck but ol Bruce never even blinked once the tire pressures were dropped. I was pretty impressed. Might go back down again on Tuesday.

Testing some lights for a new company before they're released. No pricing info yet, but I'll post once testing is done and they're ready to ship I'll be sure to create a new thread

Hella bright... I'm waiting on a new LED driver to come in this week so I can have both headlamps working properly and I'll update on light output then as well

Sounds like you had a good time. What tires do you have? Your signature says 29's. A video of your next trip would be nice! :)

Just some cheapish Westlake all terrains for now. 235/65R17. I didn't want to wear out a $600 set of tires daily driving it on pavement. These were just under $300. Trying to get my hands on some steel 16s to get a more aggressive tire for the couple weekends a year it'll spend off road and the occasional snow storm. The Westlakes ride just fine to me and they look the part with it lifted.

As for the video, my GoPro was the first thing I realized I forgot as soon as we crossed the VA/NC line. Heading back twice more this month so I'm sure I'll get some clips.

Testing out a new cold air intake that will be hitting the market soon. Was in a rush today and was not able to dial in the details but excited to see how it responds!

Had a local shop, Jeff Daniels jeep wire up my curved 42 inch light bar. Super unhappy with how they did everything but they got the job done and for 100$ MORE than they quoted me while also running an hour over their deadline. So I wouldent recommend them.

The parts however I'm very satisfied with. Mictuning 42 inch curved bar was only like 70 bucks the switches from daystar were only 40 and I believe the brackets were also 40. All off of Amazon. Love The coating on the brackets too!

Everything I found on Amazon :) this guy sells some brackets just like you would get it the daystar kit and you can get any 42inch bar to go with them. Installation of that is ridiculously easy. Just didint want to wire it myself which now I regret.

What did you use for your 'yak rack or did you just strap them to your basket?

I don't have a basket - I have Yakima Core Bars with rail mounds and a Rhino fairing. I'm sure you could tie them to a basket but I really like the ease of putting these on myself with no ladder or step stool.

Cool, thanks. Been trying to figure out how I could go with 2 boats on top without using J racks
