    Hi All,

Me again. I now understand the spacer thing and what is going on with the Renegade. That 5x110 bolt pattern is a killer. I mean, I have been looking for 2 days now and cannot find the wheel/bolt pattern/offset combo needed for a renegade to save my life.

Holy cow...I think it has to do with the fact that the 5x110 bolt pattern is a FWD type car pattern and is really not meant to be an "off-road" pattern. Every wheel that is available in a 17" with that bolt pattern all have a +35 - +40 offset. Which I am assuming will ALWAYS crash into the strut brace and will have fitment issues unless you use a spacer when using larger than "spec" tires. Just terrible...uggghhhhh what a mess. So now I know why and I have been educated.

Ok so now on to the good stuff I found this wheel company (I am sure there are others you have to look) that CAN do the job and will sell a wheel that will NOT need a spacer. You have to call them to put your order in. I did a forum search here prior to posting this and only found 1 post that mentioned this company so I am putting it here for future reference. I hope this has not been covered in other threads...

Moto Metal Wheels can do a "special wheel" because they sell what are called BLANKS (no bolt pattern pre-drilled at the factory). So you can order the sized wheel 17" 18" 20" that you want, in the width you want and offset you need +10 to +18. This will determine your "backspacing". You have to do the math yourself before you order (the backspacing is listed in the specific wheel menu). All you do is call them and tell them you need this "wheel" drilled to 5x110 and boooom done.

Here is a link to Moto Metal Wheels. I don't work there nor do I own or get money from these guys...just a guy trying to help out here.

    https://www.motometalwheels.com/

Go to the site and to the left under the BOLT PATTERN filter...select "Custom". You will get 29 hits and all of these have "Blanks" available. Pick a wheel style you like and drill down further.

    I like this one.
    https://www.motometalwheels.com/pro...ute_pa_finish=matte-black-gloss-black-inserts

You can see that it says under Bolt Pattern "Custom" so here is where you get to select the 17"x9 x+18 offset (or this pn MO98479000718) and then call them to submit your bolt pattern order.

I would also recommend that you know the stock Trailhawk wheel 17"x6.5 x 40mm offset = ~5.30" backspacing.

You should also know the "Center Bore" which is 65.1mm. So your center bore has to be this or slightly larger.

Also take note that is will cost you 24.00 per wheel extra to order a blank and to have it drilled...look at the prices and you can see it.

Another side note "any wheel manufacturer" that offers this "blanks approach" or customized method of bolt patterns can do this. So when using Google, search for "Custom bolt pattern" or Wheel Blanks or terms like this.

Anyway...hope this helps anyone looking Sorry for such a long post, trying to help new folks understand what I just learned over 2-3 days.

It looks like you've done your homework. The only thing left is to post photos of your wheels when you get them installed. Thanks for posting this great info, this should help anyone trying to find new wheels for their Renegade.
