I'm just getting into the keeping life and have never installed a lift kit before. So I dknt really know what I am doing and there wasnt any directions on how to install my avid 1.5in lift so I was wondering if someone could send me a pic of their directions or help me by explaining how to do it. Like I said I am fairly new and I am very excited to start moding my renegade!

Avid's short coming is their lack of assistance with their products... They didn't forget, they don't provide them. Friend me on Facebook (JimmyLee Smith, Las Vegas) and I'll dm you some links and give you a walk through.

I just installed the AVID 2.5" lift on my 2015 Latitude. I really like that the spacers are billet. It is a very heavy duty kit. I am running 255/55R18 AT's. I did have to do the pinch mod though. I also had to trim the heck out of the front strut lip to be able to reinstall them. I am in the green as far as alignment goes.

Yeah, so you have to be really attentive when parts searching for BU Renegades because vwrv often the search engine will bring up CJ Renegade a (a trim package) options as well. That's what you're seeing - all Eibach makes for BU Renegades is lift, stock and lowering springs.

I had to do the research and it's a convoluted mess. :) I chatted with a service rep. They seem to offer the springs as a four pack alone for $340, but the same exact springs in a "package" for $306 with free FedEx shipping. I'm including images for your entertainment.

I can tell by the picture, that kit isn't for a BU Renegade. BU has struts rather than shocks and springs, the sway bar is the wrong shape and the links are strut mounts w/opposite bolts.

Hello. I ove how your rig looks! I just got my Avid 1.5in lift kit and Eibach 1 inch springs. I just need to find some time to install. Did you still had to do the pinch weld mod? Any advice regarding the install? I am a novice when iticomes to modifying my cars but love doing it. What make and model of tires are you running? Lastly, it has been some time since your upgrade, how is your rig holding up? Any premature wear & tear? Thank you for your time.

As my wife will be getting my Rene in the next year, I'm still going to do the spring replacement on it (2017 TH). From what I've read, they ride better than the stock TH springs and give anywhere from .25-1" of lift without the actual lift kit on TH Rene's.

I think this will help with me getting in and out (bad back) and the ride quality on our crappy roads (ruts and pot holes). Yeah, $340+shipping is a bit of cash, but my kid and I will do the install in the driveway, so I'll only be out the price of the springs and food for us. Cheaper than a full lift and the stick wheels and slightly bigger tires won't look out of place.

The Eibach lifting spring will give you close to (possibly a little more) an inch of lift on a Trailhawk, at first it will seem like more but it will settle some depending on your equipment (how much extra weight you have on your rig). You will definitely notice the difference in height and ride.

You'll gain an inch possibly a hair more out of a set of Eibach lifting springs on a Trailhawk. They're definitely worth the price in quality and noticable change in ride and height.

Does anyone have an update on the avid coilover or is it just for show on their website?

I just installed my Avid 2.5 lift. I’m overall very pleased with my results.
Like many have previously stated that the instructions manual is missing so much information on the parts, install and directions. It was not complicated on the actual work just very confusing where a lot of the bolts go and which ones to use.
Alignment was pretty good back right wheel was off. I will be getting that checked by local 4x4 shop.
As far as my Jeep, I’m so happy with the look.
