Has anyone taken the center console apart where it sits under the dash? Is there any open space behind there?

Some, But not much, I was able to fit the connector box for my Cobra 75 wx st in there but it was a super tight fit...

(Link to show how big it is)

You aren't going to mount any kind of audio amp in there if that's what you're thinking..

Here is a pictures from when I had mine apart. Sorry for the blurry cam. You can tuck small items in there but there are vents and wiring going everywhere.

Thank you both for that. I’m looking for a place to mount 2 or 3 mobile radios and a couple rigrunners. Will have to find another solution.

I'd look for space in the interior rear quarter panels for the Rigrunner(s), and under the seats for the radios if you don't have to fiddle with the knogs frequently.... That would be a lot of wire from the Rigrunner though...

I’ve been looking at the boxes from tac-comm.com. I think a large one would fit 3 mobiles and a couple rigrunners. Only trick would be to work out secure mounting points behind the rear seats.
