I wonder how much lift the Eibachs would give my Sport on top of the 1.5”.

My understanding is that the Eibachs do not give as much lift to the TH as they do on the other models. TH sits 0.8" higher than the other 4x4 trim packages. They should give your Sport about an inch lift, but they wouldn't give a TH as much, but they are supposed to provide a better ride than the stock springs.

Your pics pushed me over the edge, I ordered the same lift and springs. I am going to wait on the tires as I am not sure what route I want to go yet.

Do you have measurements to the fenders to get an idea of your height? I ended up taking out my teraflex kit and just have eibachs on my 18 Lattitude, ended up at 33.5 front and rear with 225/65/17 tires, thinking of going up another size on tires.

I will get measurements to the fenders monday when I get to the shop. Glad to hear that everyones moding these little jeeps. Hopefully theres enough people moding these to make one of these companys create a 6” long arm setup to get more height to fit 32 or 33’s and make the track wider for stability as well as adding some flex capability. And the spring/spacer lift combo will work on any renegades for those who are wondering. Selling my factory rocksliders for $400 if anyone is interested. Im in Raleigh NC. Willing to drive up to 6 hours to help get them to anyone for an additional $60. May be willing to ship since I work at a dealer however its prolly gonna be in the $100 range.

Heh yah I agree. The "pros" at the shop I used look 15 hours to do Springs and 2.5 Kit. (2 people on it)
By myself, in the driveway, well I'd guess 40 hours. LOL

I have a question for you do you feel like you could of went any wider on the tire? I just lifted my renegade with the Avid 2" and Eibach springs but was looking at trading out my 18" rims for 17's and found the Falken Wildpeak in a 255/65R17 which is 30.1 in diameter and width of 10.3. I have 1.5 spacers just worried the tire will be to wide.

I am thinking about going with the same tire and spacer combination. BUT, I am going to go with the Wrangler Rubicon 17X7.5 rims. my 1.5" spacer will be 110mm to 5x5" adapters.
The Renegade 17X6.5 will probably be too skinny for a 10.3" tire. I am already wearing the center of my 225/65R17 KO2 on the Renegade rims. 255s would wear even more.

Lower your tire pressure, If the center is wearing out, it's not because the rim is to skinny, it's because you don't have enough contact area due to the lighter weight of the Renegade on a wider, higher load rated tire.... For off-road in my Wranglers, I regularly run 35x12.5 tires on 8 inch or smaller rims, it gives better bead retention at low pressures for off-road. Then I pump them up to about 24psi for road use..

The best way to figure the correct tire pressure is to chalk a straight line across the tread and run the Jeep back and forth in a straight line for a bit. The correct tire pressure is where the chalk rubs off all the way across the tread blocks. The problem with this on the Renegade will be the Nanny tire pressure monitor, I defeat this on my wranglers with programmers, but I haven't seen one for Renegades yet with that function :(

So.... let's talk trimming. I'm running the Avid 2.0 and Eibachs with the Atturo Trail Blades with 1.5" spacers and I have some gnarly rubbing on the rear of the wheel wells. I trimmed the pinch seam corners and pushed the plastic in but I am still hitting at the bottom during a lot fo combos of suspension travel and turning. How much trimming is too much? Any creative solutions?

It is hard to tell by this picture; but I cut off the lower 3 to 4 inches, and folded over another 7 or 8 inches above that.
I should have taken a few more pics before I painted it with Spray-On bed liner and VHT high temp paint.
I didn't have any rubbing with 225/65R17 BFG KO2's, no lift and 1 inch spacers.
I am now sporting AVID 2.5 inch, ATP springs and 1.5 inch spacers. My goal (hopefully) 245/65R17's without rubbing.

I think that folding over a few more inches should take care of your rubbing issue.

I'm rubbing at the bottom of the rear of the front wheel well to varying degrees when turning. I trimmed the corner seam area and pushed back the liner.
I am temped to take the lower trim off and see if I am just hitting plastic. Rock sliders seem to tuck right up against the metal behind the wheel well but since they aren't in the immediate plans I don't want to drop the money now to find out it will have no impact on the rubbing.

I wonder if the Eibachs are pushing everything towards the rear of the wheel well too much. I suppose I could go back to a 215/65 or 225/65 tire.

You could try taking the wheel spacers off, as long as you don't end up rubbing the struts, if that works, maybe try and find a spacer that doesn't push the tire out as much, but still give you a stance you like...

The trim is the main problem. Once you get the bottom trim removed and put on rock sliders, that will help a little. The other trim piece over the bottom trim (the trim that goes around the fenders) still barely hits on rare occasion, but most of my noise is from that lower trim that gets removed.

The other minor rub issue is the fender liner flapping around and sometimes the bottom gets bent up from the tire coming up as you turn and catching that bottom lip of the fender liner. Once that bends up, it makes all sorts of loud noise even though it is barely any contact and the liner is free down there (I removed the bottom screw when I noticed the screw heads were getting polished from rubbing). I just use a razor to cut that lip off, when it happens but the real solution would be to secure that liner back up against the steel body with something. It kinda just flaps around down there with an air gap between it and the steel body.

I have a 3D printer so I will mock something up with cardboard and model it when I have time. Living in the Midwest, I need to keep the salt out from every nook and cranny.

it sounds like your having the same problem I had when I first did my setup. Everything I got done didn't seem to get rid of the tires rubbing. I decided to trim back my rock sliders by about an inch with a cutoff wheel and bingo, no more rubbing. You might want to give that one a try as I haven.t had any rubbing since I did that.
