Hello All, The names Russell, from Maryland and I just got myself a 2016 Renegade Sport 1.4L 6 speed. I stumbled upon this epic forum through my many google searches of how awesome this car is! First time owning a Jeep and I am thoroughly impressed! Everything at the moment is stock but if some of you fine folks have some ideas for budget friendly upgrades first (I have twin toddlers, they literally eat my money for breakfast) before I get into looking at the more expensive things. Congratulations, that's a nice looking Jeep! I traded in my '16 Sport 1.4l last week for a Latitude 2.4l, but I miss the growly turbo and manual gearbox! The Renegade is the absolute best when stripped down, in my opinion. One thing I liked about the Sport was the lack of bells and whistles up front, it felt more like an Italian car you might drive in the countryside in Europe. One thing that definitely makes the car look more rugged would be adding roof rails and a cargo basket up top. Plus it actually came in handy last time we went camping, I had to hoist the heavy ice chest up there as I ran out of room in the cargo area.
