I'm looking at tires come tax season. I really want to go with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. I'm not lifted so I'm curious what size I can squeeze in without having to mod? I saw a guy on here going with 225's. Anyone else running these bad boys?

    My basic Renegade:

225/65/17 tires will fit without problems on any 4x4 Renegade model without any mods. I am not sure they will fit on a FWD Renegade.

From what I can tell of this platform you should be able to fit those on any Renegade without issues.

    +1 for the 225/65/17's
I wore that size for 3 years without any issues (BFG KO2).

Good to know! Just trying to avoid the price tag on the BFG's! My pocketbook is mostly full of dust bunnies and cobwebs.

I hate dust bunnies and cobwebs. lol
I have Falken Wildpeak AT3W on the wifes Ram 1500 4X4. She loves them, and they look good.

So evidently the A/T3W's only come in these sizes:

    215/65R17 or 235/75R17

Thoughts? Dump money into a lift so I can fit larger tires? Go with a totally different tire like Toyo Open Country A/T II?

Well since your pocketbook is full of cobwebs and dust bunnies...

It makes more sense to stay with the stock size or a totally different tire. I find a lot of times that Cooper Tires run slightly smaller than other tires list.

Were you able to make a decision?

I'll be shopping in the Spring. Right now I'm leaning towards a couple options, but the Toyo Open Country A/T looks like a winner so far.
