Can’t get SiriusXM to work on my UConnect, keeps saying acquiring signal so I don’t have the best cell service at my house so I drove into town and set for 30 minutes 1 day and got nothing. I have wasted my whole 6 month free Sub becuz I’m not able to get it to work. Most of the time my wife connects Bluetooth and listens to amazon music but it would be nice to have the Sirius option if we wanted it. Anyone else experiencing similar issue?
Try doing a "soft reboot" of Uconnect. I recently was having issues with Uconnect. In my case, the USB media port was intermittent and then just stopped working all together and I lost use of Android Auto. I "rebooted" and my issues went away. Ive read that it can clear up other connectivity issues with navigation, XM, etc. as well. The steps for a soft reboot are as follows: (Note that there is no prompt or message indicating that a reset is happening. Also, it will not remove any paired devices, radio stations, etc.) - Hold down the voice and green phone buttons together on the steering wheel for 30 seconds while the engine is running and door closed. The "assistant" will keep asking for a voice command. Just ignore her and keep holding the buttons. After 30 seconds, shut down the Jeep. Wait for the touch screen to go black. Open the door as if you were going to get out but don't. Close the door and restart the engine. Done! It worked for my issue! There are also directions I found on a Wrangler forum for doing a factory reset if the soft reset doesn't work. Good luck! -Scotty
Also, just call them and tell them you didn't get to "fully experience" your siriusXM subscription. They'll give you like 3 more months
