Just put Cooper Discoverer AT3s on my Latitude. The back ones fit awesome, the front right juuuust cleared and the front left juuust touched (wore off after about 500 miles) Knew it was a bit of a gamble, but I love them.
Is it just rubbing on the strut? Thinking about ordering some 235/65r17s as well but curious if they rub the fender wells any?
Yea, its just rubbing the strut, but I probably won't put this size on again, I would probably just go with the 225/65R17. I drove to LA and back on a weekend, so I put 600 miles on the car in three days and it rubbed almost the whole time, it would have been super annoying to have to listen to that for weeks and weeks.
I don't have spacers, that would solve the strut rubbing, but I think it would then rub on the outer fender liner.
Haha, Hendertucky. I'm sure she'll see me sooner or later...it's hers silver? I've seen a silver one in BC. no more rubbing, all is good now and I'm enjoying that extra .9" of ground clearance
Good to hear. Hers is silver with a cargo rack. Hopefully she will let me get tires for mine soon.... Happy wife happy life.
Bringing this thread back! So the 235/65r17 AT3 has a diameter of 29.22 inches. Thoughts on a 29" tire (like the Kumho Road Venture https://tiresize.com/tires/Kumho/Road-Venture-AT51-235-65R17.htm) on a stock TH? Anyone ruining this tire with no lift? Also, the potential rubbing at turn if you ran spacer - would that be on the pinch seem or somewhere else? Thanks!
