I didn't get the Renegade with the spare tire kit, just the flat tire repair kit. I move that to underneath the passenger seat. 2 Oz Vector 10 2.5 D4 subs an Oz Vector 2000.1 amp and Stinger LOC with adjustable gain and remote out wired from the stock 6.5" sub located in the right rear panel. The stock system is the Alpine 9 speaker system. Any other questions please feel free to ask.

I like how clean that design is. Now that you have had it a while, how does the amp work when you play it loud for a long duration? I am concerned that there isn't enough air circulation to keep it cool where it is.

I have never had an issue with heat, nor has the amp shut down from extended periods of loud play 30-45mins. I have since the install did the big 3 upgrade "4ga wire for Body ground, alternator ground and alternator output to battery" and installed a second battery to the right of the amp "Stinger SPV680" the headlights and overhead lights were flickering like strobe lights when I really jammed on it, hasn't stopped it but now it's barely noticeable. Ask me again at the end of August about the Heat and I may have a different story. Hope this helps

OK, I bought all the things needed to put in my subwoofers. My problem is that I cannot find where in the firewall there is a grommet to put the power cord from the battery through. Where did you put it? If you have a picture of it, that would be great. Thank you in advance, Sean.

I have an automatic so I used the plug that was to the left of the brake pedal. I also taped the power wire to a wire coat hanger and pushed it through the firewall and then ran it up to the battery. Hope this helps now to go fix that grommet Renegade grommet.JPG

Thank you for the picture. I don't think that will work with mine. I have the standard tranny so the hole that you put it through is the same hole where my clutch goes. I will keep looking. I did find a hole on the other side that will need to be drilled larger for the 4 AWG cord. I have the drill and the grommet to make it happen.

There is a relatively small removable plastic bulkhead near the battery and above the large cable from the fusebox that passes through the firewall. There is space to poke wires through the rubber grommet around the cable near the wiper motor. The grommet and cable is also visible inside the dash by looking through the hole for the drivers dash speaker. I ran two primary wires from the battery through the firewall this way, one for a 7 pin trailer harness and one for a powered subwoofer (underseat amp). I took pictures and put them here http://pub.lavachamber.com

Awesome, thanks! I was looking for a way to run a wire to the battery in a 6SP manual!

Nice! I have 2 Sundown SA-8 v3's waiting to get into my renegade. I have no hope of making it look as slick as this.
