Before I moved to the city I had a pickup, a hi-lift was a standard tool in the truck. looking at my Reny, I'm not sure a hi-lift would reach the frame without hitting the body. As my Trailhawk is currently stock, I don't see it being able to get into an area where a hi-lift is necessary. However, if I do a lift and some KO2's a hi-lift could be handy at some point. I don't want to order a jack and mount unless I know I can use it. So if any of you Toasters have a Hi-lift and are board give it a test and let me know if it's doable. - Thanks
It you are just looking for something that can be used to change a flat a bottle of scissor jack would be much better and less dangerous.
This ^^^^ A hi-lift jack is completely unnecessary and if anything, a good bottle or scissor jack would serve you much better and safer.
Thanks for the insight. Safer and cheaper, seems like a no-brainer. Luckily you guys are here to set me straight. Thanks
I wouldn't use a hi-lift jack unless you had rock sliders. While they are dangerous they, do have their benefits offroad.
