I am planning on doing the turbo upgrade eventually. My clutch will need to be upgraded first. Your best bet is to look at the fiat 500 or dodge dart forums. They have our same engine and turbo and have already been down this road.

Second on the reading the dart/500 forums suggestion. I came from another turbo manual (speed 3) and the forum information there was incredible. No other platform I've found has anything on that level, but looking up turbo upgrades for us, the hogged out stock turbo housing seems like the easiest/best bet.

This company has tunes and a turbo upgrade for the 1.4T. They do Darts, 500's and 124's mainly, but do list the Renegade.

Haven't seen them do it on a Renegade yet, but they are not far from me. Planning to do some minor upgrades and a tune down the road. Just the tune is supposed to be good for about +30 hp/tq at the wheels. The turbo upgrade pushes it in to the 260 whp range.

IF/when you check them out, let me know what you think. A small boost would be nice for the oversized tyres, but I don't need to completely overhaul my engine with a new terboh... Yet.
