Sorry for my bad english but I'm writing from Italy I don't have the g-force kit but in italian jeep renegade forum there are many people that installed it, and on average there are satisfied: no problems on stability and a fair improvement on offroad.
I am also wondering about this. I am curious to see the components to this lift. There supposed to be all metal and no rubber spacers... But I have yet to see any of this just word of mouth. Its a half inch shorter than Daystars and If anything ever happened to the lift or you need customer service your going to need to know French lol
Yeah, that's what I'm struggling with too. I ordered the Daystar lift. I'm hoping that they have all of the bracket issues sorted out. Ultimately, I elected to go with their product. They are state side and have excellent customer service....
I just called them yesterday and they are hoping to have them stocked again by next week sometime. I will probably go that route. Just seems smarter
I confirm that they are all metal (alloy) whitout rubber components. this is the link to g-force shop on line: http://www.g-store.it/prodotto/kit-rialzo-offroad-25-cm/
So, after waiting for two months and getting the complete run around, I've cancelled my order for the Daystar lift and ordered the G Force one through Madness out of California. I'll keep you guys updated on how the install goes, as well as the quality. I'll be the guinea pig!
Excellent, I can't wait to see how it goes and if there is any fitment issues. Did you get the wheel centering kit too?
Sucks you got the run around with the DS kit, I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and FedEx tracking shows it coming in on Saturday. Hopefully I can get the rears aligned on mine without too much trouble.
I'm glad you got yours when you ordered it. I just figured since I was having so much trouble getting mine that the universe didn't want me to have one on my Jeep for whatever reason.
Awesome! What are your impressions of the build quality of the kit and does it come with instructions? Cant wait to see some actual pictures of the kit on a members BU.
First impression is that it is solid. Yes, there are instructions. The kit is all metal, no plastic or poly material, which impressed me. The rear parts are a lot bigger than I thought they'd be. They are pretty hefty too. Around 18 pounds total.
18 pounds! Holy crap. Guess they are heavy duty then. Please post some pics tomorrow after you have the kit installed and can you check the clearance around the exhaust afterwards too, as the Daystar kit I've read can have some interference with the muffler and exhaust piping.
