2015 Jeep Renegade Colors

With the release of the all new Jeep BU Renegade just around the color, I guess it's time to pick out a color and oh man, there are a lot of great ones to choose from. An article on Truck Yeah by Andrew P. Collins highlighted the following pallet which includes a Black, Carbon Black, Anvil, Colorado Red, Commando Green, Glacier Metallic, Mojave Sand, Omaha Orange, Solar Yellow, Sierra Blue and an Alpine White. Which one will you get?

Hard not to like the Commando Green but that Sierra Blue looks really clean too. If you were to get it in a TrailHawk, it would have red tow points and I think that would look really nice with the blue too.

 

Green, Sand, or Blue. I'm saving the Anvil for a JKU.

 

Funny you should say as much, Sand is really nice as it reminds me more of the Sahara Tan that the JK used to be available in. Anvil looks awesome on the Renegade but for your purposes, I do think you need it on your JKU

 

Speaking of JKU's, I found an anvil JKUR built the way I want down in Elk Grove. Not sure it's going to happen though. Crappy thing about working for yourself...if people don't pay then you don't get to pay yourself.

I appreciate it. I've got one guy who has owed me $17k for two years now. One would think he would pay me considering I got him $135k, but I guess some people just don't have honor like that. If he paid me before the end of the year, I'd have my JKU and it would be sitting on 37's by January. I'm not holding my breath though.

 

im assuming the Carbon black will be more of a flat black (hard to tell in the pic). i am all for the red, anvil (because i love it on the wrangler), or the orange s pretty cool looking

 

The red is really nice and definitely a close 2nd for me. Hard to say what Carbon Black will look like but if I could guess, it'll still be a gloss with a metallic in it. Either way, I'd love to see it.

 

You think the Carbon black will look like that batman one you posted? I know they normally try to keep factory colors in movies sometimes

 

What I can tell you is that it would be WAY COOL if it were. But, who can know for sure at this point and time.

 

I can absolutely see one of these getting the "Woody" treatment as a surfing rig. Kind of like the fake wood paneling that was so popular on the Grand Wagoneers in the 80's.

 

You know.... in a crazy kind of way, I can totally see it happening and looking pretty good. LOL

 

I like the sand. I've been a fan of all the fan colors in the past.

 

Yeah. I really liked the Sahara Tan - more so than Dune and, I think this new "Sand" looks more like Dune and that would be cool
