2016 Falken HT stock tires

Do you have any issues rubbing or anything like that. The jeep rep said the tires could damage the vehicle and void warranty.

 

I added a G-Force 1" lift and wheel spacers and have no rubbing. As long as you dont run wheel spacers, you do not need any lift in order to run KO2s that are 225/65r17. If you dont do a lift and put on the tires and wheel spacers, it will probably rub. So your best bet is to just put the tires on for now and then in the future if you want wheel spacer or a lift, just do them at the same time and you will have zero issues.

 

I have Yokohama Geolander 225/65-17 on my stock Trailhawk and they fit fine, no rubbing. The speedometer is still close, with in 1/2 a mile per hour, mpg calculator is correct and I get just about the same fuel mileage as before.
The BFGoodrich KO2 are the same size just a little heavier and a more aggressive tread. I think Yokohama and BFGoodrich are about the only two that make A/T tires in 225/65-17.

It's always going to be up to the dealer on what "voids the warranty". Most dealers would only void a warranty on something that was directly caused by an aftermarket part. In this case something like worn ball joints, hub bearings, etc. Body work, leaks, engine issues, electrical issues have nothing to do with you putting new tires on.

Nope, everything is stock. There aren't any A/T tires in 215/65-17 so had to go 1/2 inch wider and taller but they are a good fit.

Sweet guys I just got a call from Jeep Wave offering me $150 per tire 5 tires $750 total. Nothing for mounting or anything like that. Not sure what I want to do yet. I want to get the KO2 but I travel for work..

Where's the best and cheapest place to buy those tires?

Also where do you buy TPMS or if you take them to a tire shop will they have them?

 

So what is Jeep Wave exactly? I'm not a member as far as I know but would definitely like my tires to be what they are supposed to be. If I'm not a member, how do I go about setting this straight? Or do I have to become a member in order to receive compensation? I'm just not sure how to go about getting the all-terrains I'm supposed to have.

 

Its vip jeep customer service w perks. Comes w 2016 trailhawks. Not 2015. I asked for help thru normal jeep customer service and they literally told me to sit on it and get a lawyer. Called wave got a case opened immediatly and escorted to finish line.

 

Oh ok. Thanks for sharing your experience. So does anyone think it would work if I bought into the jeep wave club (membership is like $160) and then filed a claim? Legally jeep should just agree to fix the issue but I don't feel like getting the run around for months.

The tpms sensors stay in the wheels, nothing needed to change out. Next set of tires you could probly change out the valve stems.

 

Got mine from a local wholesale club in NJ, (BJs) not sure if they have em by you. I only had to wait 2 days to get em shipped in. JeepWave paid me the $735 for the tires, all total with mount and balance came to $807.

 

Hey everybody, I was at a dealership today and asked if they can reprogram the speedo for running bigger tires and they said they can. I hope that's true

 

Keep us posted, my dealer said no. It would be nice if it could be done. When I am ready for new tires I am thinking of the Yokohama Geolander G015's.

 

I was trying to get some BFG K02's but most places i looked they were on back order. I hit up my local Discount Tire and was talking to them about it and they said 6-8 weeks, possibly longer. He mentioned the Geolandar G015's were more readily available. I did some research and ended up ordering those. Definitely not as agressive, but the tire weight is closer to the OEM tire weight and they seem better suited for my weekend warrior life. I should be getting them installed this upcoming weekend.
