did any details materialize on what exactly he did to the spring perch? ...or is it so basic that no explanation is necessary?

Are you guys using a drop in K&N filter?

 

Yeah. I picked up a 33-5034 on Amazon for about 45 bucks.

 

really a good difference with the air filter?

 

I live in the bottom of a steep winding hill and I noticed it does a little better getting up it. When I'm taking a turn from a stop and getting up to speed it has a little more oomph. I saw someone describe it as "if the stock filter was your car with a cold, then the K&N is like it without a cold" and that was pretty accurate.

 

thats kindve how i felt putting premium into it before trails. wife doesnt agree i dont think
