Has anyone seen the technical specs that say the difference between sand and mud mode? I've hunted pretty hard and can only find speculation about shift points and torque bias. If anyone has the tech sheets that show the actual calibration differences between all modes that would be gold.

I have the 1.4t manual and about the only thing I have noticed is the throttle response changes. The throttle in Sand mode seems to come on slower than mud mode. This makes sense since in sand you dont want to suddenly spin the tires or you bury yourself. In mud you want the tires to spin a bit to fling the mud off and open some tread. There may be a difference in how the brakes work with the traction control and how the power is split between front and rear, but I couldn't tell.

After using BOTH, sand mode DIGS big time in front wheel drive feeling more like a 60/40 favoring front ..... whereas mud mode give more 40/60 favoring rear
