Apologize if this has already been asked, but I wasn't able to find a thread on it.

Just purchased a 2017 Renegade Deserthawk. It's loaded, but didn't come with the Cold Weather Package. Seems to have every other bell and whistle but that upgrade. Since we bought end of the model year, we kind of had to settle for what the dealer had in stock (did get a great deal on it though...)
The wife's car that we sold (2011 Altima) had heated seats, and she agreed to go ahead with the Renny sans the seat heaters, but after only having it a couple of weeks, she misses them already (she has a bad back).
Has anyone added the seat heater option post purchase? Is it available as a dealer add-on? Or any OEM kits available? I would suspect it's an entire seat replacement type of thing, but not entirely sure. The seats are embroidered with "DESERTHAWK" so that may be an issue as well.

    appreciate any input

    Thanks!

I have no clue professionally so don't take my word for this. but I believe they make kids said she can put a heated seat in any car but I don't know the trustworthiness of them, and they would require complete taking apart of the seat and then reupholstering it again

Get a car audio/upholstery shop to install aftermarket ones, should be about $500 Maybe less for both.

Are you a CostCo member? I came across this on the CostCo site and am seriously considering having them installed on my Renegade. The price is as good or better than I've seen elsewhere. The supplier of the seat heating elements and installation kit is well-known. CostCo arranges with a shop local to you to have the installation done.

One key reason I'm considering going this way is that, in my experience, CostCo does an excellent job of standing behind everything they sell. I'd much rather go this way and have CostCo's backing than have some random shop do the installation.
