I bought some aftermarket fog lights and went to have them installed. I was told they couldn’t install them because a bracket that holds the radiator up is in the way of the driver’s side fog light. I’ve included a picture of the bracket.
Has anyone run into this problem before or know of a fix? I live in the mountains and it can get pretty foggy.

So yes. I got the sport model which did not come with fog lights. After purchasing the OEM fog light housings, I found this exact same problem. I simply took a hack saw to that bracket and made room. Only a small portion is used to hold up the bottom of the inter-cooler for the turbo. The rest is probably there to help with the small overlap crash test. It is made up of a thinner piece of metal cast into a block of plastic. Unfortunately, I had to remove my entire front bumper cover to get the bracket off before modification.
