Finally got it off road! Only mods were a Valkyrie rear diff skid plate - and that sure took a beating! I went with a lifted Nissan Frontier and a lifted 4 door JK. I went everywhere they went - these are great off road! I have been to this park several times with my lifted Liberty, and this took me all the same places. I did scrape the bumper up a bit and the door trim, but I am super impressed. It's so maneuverable on the trails. The short wheel base allows it to clear obstacles bigger Jeeps can't without a big lift and tires. Just as the front wheels come down and you'd expect to high center, the rears hit the peak and prevent that. I was also worried that without having a proper two speed transfer case, I'd wish for more power. Not true at all- the 1.3T had tons of grunt and it honestly felt as good as my Liberty in that regard. The 2019s have a 21:1 crawl ratio and the Liberty has a 25:1, so not that different. Enough with my rambling, here are a few pics.
Cool place! It would be cool to ride a jeep there. Also, do you know some good places for drifting in that same area? I’ve just seen an s14 silvia for sale, and I might buy it because the offer is really good this Nissan car has been my dream for a long time since 2003 when I first saw it drifting. This one is a beautiful S14 with a 2.4L KA24DE inline four-cylinder engine. I also like the look because it’s purple. Anyways, I need a place to try this car and see how well the drifting goes. This model is one of the best for it, and I hope it’s in good shape.
