Look great. Did the spare wheel get the same tire and if so did it still fit in the trunk? Curious about that.

Did you happen to change the spare wheel tire too? If so does it still fit in its compartment in the trunk?

Hello, I didn't try to fit the spare in my trunk yet, however I called tirerack and for the spare I purchased a Sumitomo 225/65/17 tire, they said it was the same size as the BF Goodrich KO2's and half the price. The tire is going to arrive this week and I'll let you know how it fits in the trunk. ImageUploadedByToasterJeep1456191867.010921.jpg

The 225 65 r17 tire fits fine where the stock full size spare fit.

After lookin, the Xterra has 265-65R17s. Im wondering if these'll fit w/o lift or spacers...ill have to wait a week or so to try it. They might be too big.

265 KO2's won't fit without lift or spacers. In fact they may still run a bit with both of those mods. I've only heard of one persons putting them on and they didn't really clarify if there was rubbing.

I would tend to agree. From what others have reported here and on other sites, 265s will most likely rub even with the lift and spacers.

Seein as the 265 are 40mm taller than the 225, that would be aboot 1.5 inches, or .75 in more clearance needed. Trying to get away with havin to buy another set of tires, oh well!!

Im on the fence of getting these tires but i love them. The only thing holding me back is the fact that they are 44lbs (11 per tire) more. Wouldnt this have negative affects on the automatic transmission? Im a newb when it comes to rotational mass and unsprung weight.

Did you ever find out if these tires fit the stock 17" wheels with or without a lift? I have a Latitude 4x4 and have been looking into there tires.

Your math is a bit off. Just to clarify, the "265" refers to the WIDTH of the tire, the "65" refers to the aspect ratio "portion of the width" for sidewall height.

If you had a 200/50R15 you would have a tire that was 200mm in width, and 100mm from wheel to ground (aka sidewall)

Yes, there are no issues with mounting a 225 tire to the stock TH rims

265/65r17 are 2.5" taller. Wouldn't such a big tire throw the computer and shift points off? Or can the jeeps computer be reprogrammed?
