Hey guys..I am new to this site it was introduced from a friend. Quick question I have a 2017 Renegade sport and I just replaced the factory radio. Great new radio however my odometer is blinking now. Still counting miles and working just flashing. Anyone have any ideas how to fix?? Thanks in advance ~ Jet in jersey
This is normal in FCA’s vehicles. Usually you need some kind of adapter, like the Maestro (check on Crutchfield, or where you bought your new stereo). This blinking is the way it “complains” about a discrepancy between the electronic equipment IDs stored in the BCM and what is actually there. In your case the BCM expects to “see” the Uconnect headunit, of course its not there, so you get the error.
