That's awesome! Here's your solution so you can run some slightly bigger meats on Renny now!

Nice, but why did they start with a non Trailhawk?

Will they offer a Trailhawk lift as well is the golden question?

The lift you are looking at is a 1.5" lift and I am unaware of any reasons why you wouldn't be able to run this on a Trailhawk. I will most likely be visiting Daystar in the near future to get more details about this lift AND all the other products they are currently working on :)

It will not work on a Trailhawk because the Trailhawk already has a 1" Lift Kit ... the Ancle of the Axis will cause the Problem when Lifting it 1"+1.5" ...

This is not true. The Trailhawks do NOT have a "lift kit" on them, they are just made about 1" taller than a Sport, Latitude or Limited. Daystar is a reputable company who puts ALL their products through rigorous FMVSS 126 testing and they have assured me that their 1.5" kit will work on ALL Renegade models including Trailhawks. Also, on their test Renegade, they are currently running 235/65R17 tires which is basically an advertised 30" tire.

Anyway fact is they are already 1" higher than other models and so the Axis Ancle is already different ... it doesn´t matter wether the Springs are longer or if there is a "lift Kit" above the shocks mounted ... the Axle will cause Problems when the Ancle is to different to normal Position ...

Well, I guess Mopar never got that memo when they built their Frostbite Renegade for SEMA last year. It was a Trailhawk and with a 2" lift.

I'll be getting one of these Daystar lift kits and will run it on my Trailhawk as soon as I can get my hands on one.

I should also point out that the Trailhawk is only 0.8" taller than a Sport, Latitude or Limited. That's not quite a full inch and this lift is only 1.5" tall. So, in reality, you are only seeing a total lift height that is just a tiny bit taller than 2". About a quarter inch or for you, about a centimeter. Hardly enough to really be a problem.

Yupp but i agree with you ... also it has reasons why they show this Lift at SEMA but don´t sell it like this ... the Problem is there when the shocks move fully in or out you exceed the Transmission capacities ... you sure will have Probs when lifting the Rascal 2,5" without a negative Motor Lift ...
