It was time for a new family vehicle, so this weekend we added a new Jeep to the collection. We decided on a 2018 Renegade Sport Upland 4x4 in Hypergreen. After looking around, reading reviews, talking to owners, and scouring the web, the My Sky seemed like a "have to" option. Since we own a Wrangler as well, we like having open air and the My Sky is an awesome addition to the open top feeling. There are zero mods at this time and really no desire for such. That will likely change after owning it for a few months...

Hopefully we'll get to meet more toaster owners in our area soon,

Very Nice! I too just bought a Hyper Green Sport. I love the turbo with the 6 speed.

So far I've added the hood stripe, and have (2) Goodrich AT KO2's - I just need (2) more! Here we're in search of the Tennessee Dirt Devil...it was a blast.

    Enjoy the new Renegade!

I've been looking into tire sizes that will fit without a lift as well as what lift kits are available for the Renegade. I can definitely see where ATs will be nice in comparison to the street tires.

As for the Tennessee Dirt Devil, I've never heard of it. Where's it located and can our street tires make it?

    Good looking ride btw!

I've got the 16" steel wheels, and from what I've read on this forum, the Goodrich AT KO2 225/70R16 will fit without a lift with no rubbing. They're about 1" taller than my stock continental's. I'm anxious to get them put on, but I need 2 more. I ordered them from the Walmart website, but they are actually sold by Priority Tire @ $176 ea. with no shipping charge. The next mod will be a 1.5" lift kit.

The Tennessee Dirt Devil is a perfect for Renegades. I made it with my stock Conti tires without a problem. It's an area of challenging roads, but at times it seems like a trail. It has a number of water crossings which are a lot of fun, and there are some pretty steep hills too. It's near Leiper's creek, enter 9547 S. Tatum Creek Rd, Lyles TN into your Google maps and you will find it. Near by, Mc Adoo Branch Rd had some nice hills and at least a half dozen water crossings. My boys loved those creek crossings!

Google the Tennessee Dirt Devil and you'll find a guy that sells maps of the area for $20, but I just explored the area on my own. Also, it's close to the Natchez Trace Parkway which is interesting if you haven't been on it before. There's some good hiking trails along the parkway - good way to stretch out after a lot of driving.

Any ideas on lift kits? Are there favored setups that work best with the Renegades? I guess I need to start digging on the boards some!

Thanks for the info on the Tennessee Dirt Devil. I'll have to check it out.

I'm considering the Avid 1.5" lift kit. It looks simpler and beefier that most, and it's gotten good reviews here......
