Thank You for giving me excess to this community. I just bought a 2015 Renegade Cert Preowned with 30,000 miles on it from a local jeep dealer. It's my first Jeep ever, and I'm looking for opinions about the extended warranty I just bought. I'm wondering if i should keep it, cancle it and/or buy another one if theyre cheaper elsewhere? Is anyone aware of any costly issues with 15's worth keeping the warranty? It did already come with a Jeep CPO warranty. Not sure if there is already a thread for this, didnt see one. I am new to forums in general as well.
What did the warranty cost, how long is it good for and what are the coverages. This the warranty the Jeep came with in 2015 :
What did the warranty cost you? I think there's a few issues with the 15' renegades that later models don't have. Since it's the first year of the model, i'd think it would be good to have an extended warranty. There's a high chance your radiator fan will go out. I think I've heard that's like a $1200 fix. I've also heard of issues with the 15' mysky panels leaking or pooling water... It's a hit or miss whether you got a good one or a lemony one. If you plan on keeping the renegade long term, you could also consider the lifetime warranty.
