Yup, IFS/IRS. A 30" tire would only be 1" more in terms of tire height and 2" in terms of fitting in the wheel well which is still trapezoidal so, you might be right. A 1" spacer might be enough to get the job done and without needing much in the department of modifications.

Well, you could always get new wheels but, I'd hate to have to go down to a 16".

I wonder what the inner fender will look like. If it's just a liner and could be trimmed it might be easier to fit bigger tires. The issue I see with going to big of a tire would be the same issue Chevy and GMC trucks have, the square wheel well. The lift has to be so big in order for the tire to be completely clear the wheel well.

For me suspension and bigger rubber is a must! But looking at the picture posted by JKanimal body protection looks like it could be important.

Right. The other problem is that the wheels on the Renegade have an off set to them instead of back spacing. If you push the wheels out too much, they tires won't be able to tuck up and under the fender - thus needing even more lift. It's going to be tricky and I'm dying to see what all we'll have to work with.

This is true and I'd be interested to see what if anything manufacturers come up with.

Nobody have a heart attack the troll is going to post his first serious post and in topic!!!! Now what was I going to say... Mmm coffee... Maybe some mud terrains that they put on the rubicons? But big as 32s but worth a look? I'm thinking this toaster is growing on me maybe some km2s would suit it, I like the duratacs so that would add a mild playful look as well as function... Troll out!

i thought i read tho the base models will come standard with a 16" and the trailhawk is standard with the 17"? if so yea it would suck for the TH owners to downsize but it would work for whoever got the base model (like myself) just to add a more agressive look. i guess thats where my mind was at

Thanks. It took some time to find just the right one. I liked this one because you have to think about it for a second to figure it out.

Or, convince Nitto to make some smaller sizes. ;)

Good call on the CB. I'm thinking a tire repair kit and compressor would be good too because I'm not sure whether it has a full-size spare.

Hmmm, it may be tough to find a good spot for a CB. May need to go back to looking at handheld units or a Cobra 75. That or just go race radio.

Lol A cb antenna hanging off of will deffinetly make it look like an RC car!

But in all seriousness i agree that a cb and a small compressor would be great additions. Have they listed the trunk size yet? Wonder if an arb fridge would fit back there.

If it doesn't have a sun roof a full length console, like what suburb and have, would be ideal to store a CB in.

There are very few photos of the undercarriage on the interwebs. The few I have seen don't make it seem like you would want to go bashing through a rock garden.
