I was curious what the 'button' between the map light switches did. A photo of it revealed that it apparently is a built-in garage/gate opener. Anyone know how to program it ? I have a remote gate opener but not sure how to program the Toaster opener from it. I can't find any mention of this feature in the OM. A general Google search revealed that the Renegade does not have a built-in opener. IF that is the case, what is the button for that is labeled 'Auto' and has a 'picture' of a gate opening? The 'button' seems to have a couple possible activation positions. I did find other Jeep models may have 'HomeLink', a programmable button that the Renee does not have.
