Is that a one-piece tailgate panel that holds the lights, CB antenna, and the 2 Rotopax? I have been seriously considering the Renegade rear tailgat panel, but if the upcoming Modular tailgate panel will be able to have these Rotopax mounts, I will wait for it instead
Silentstryder, the photo in question is the rear of a 84-01 Jeep Cherokee (XJ). I got excited too when I saw this pic, but then I looked at the GBX site. FWIW, I think there may be a way to run the GBX light rack AND the Daystar CamCan setup, but I think there may be some modifications involved. Sent from my iPhone using ToasterJeep mobile app
Yeah, I noticed it wasn't a renegade in the picture, but I recall the GBX representative saying that the Modular tailgate panel for the renegade would allow for mounting additional accessories than the regular Renegade tailgate panel. I would love to be able to have the modular tailgate panel on my renegade, and fit 2 lights, CB antenna, and 2x Rotopax like in the picture.
Man those pics just remind me how much I want metal bumpers for my TrailHawk. Looks like nobody will ever come out with them, you want to tackle it Globex? I know people have noted that the weight of steel bumpers would be a lot on the Renegades, but even aluminum bumpers reinforced well would be much better (and better looking) than the stock plastic pieces.
These mounts will not work on the renegade. We do have plans to develop a mount for the renegade in the near future.
Well, a man can still dream. Wonder what the cost would be to have one fabricated at a local shop if there was a good one in the area? Likely way more than its worth, but would be pretty wicked to have the only one off bumper around.
I'm sure in the way future you'll see some aftermarket bumpers on the market for the renegade. Cutting will have to be done for sure that's why I'm assuming we have not seen anything on the market yet. I hope to see something soon.
