    Hello jeepers,
My name is augi and I have a 2010 wrangler I've had for 7yrs and luv it.. my wife in turn bought a 2016 limited renegade this year because of my experience with my jeep..
A couple days after owning it, I noticed that the mirrors had black splatter behind the glass "like the written advisory warning" but big splatter dots. so she took it to have it replaced. It took 3 weeks to change our the mirrors. Frustrating for her but hey it happens..
A month later she got the check engine light on "at 4K miles", so we took it in to the dealers.. They told us that it needed some flash updates that was causing the fog lights, AC and throttle not to work properly.. two weeks later they got it in and fixed it. The very next day it came back on and off to the dealers again.. this time they said it would be three weeks until we could get in to see what the issue is..
My wife got angry and demanded it get fixed. They got her a rental car and kept the jeep, it's been at the dealers for a week and today we got a call saying it was the transmission.
They stated that they already pulled the motor and tranny out and are getting ready to replace it. It might be ready next week.. might..
The jeep only has 4K miles on it and it has never been off-road, this situation has my wife feeling as if buying this jeep was a bad idea..
    So...
should we have concerns? She luvs her jeep but this issue has put her over the edge..
thanks for reading my post, any advise or comments would be great to hear..

This is not just a jeep thing its happening to a lot of car manufacturers problem is we all want everything part from kitchen sink in our cars along with all ecological crap means everything is run by electrics (and people think electric cars are the answer[emoji848])then the boffins try to be to smart for there own good which in there nice little laboratory is probably good and dandy then we get it most of us get one and have no problems then someone gets one and it gos wrong problem is technician isn't a electronics boffin who designed it and nobody else really knows how it works.you just need to look at all the crap that go,s wrong with computers then think your car runs multiple computers.i feel for you been there with a £18000 Honda motorcycle but it could be worse my boss has a £40.000 Mercedes that makes a renegade look like the most reliable car on the planet .

Here, in Brazil, we use to say that is a FIAT problem. I don't know if occurs the same in US, but a lot of parts in this 2 new Jeeps (Compass and Rene) are from Fiat. My diesel Trailhawk have some problems like that...
